(Alliance News) - Keywords Studios on Monday named Bertrand Bodson as its new chief executive, effective December 1.

Bodson will replace Andrew Day, who brought forward his retirement plan.

Bodson will join the London-based video game industry services provider after a three-year stint as chief digital at healthcare firm Novartis Europharm Ltd, part of Novartis AG, and before that leading J Sainsbury PLC's integration of Argos concessions into its supermarkets.

"Bertrand brings an ideal skill set to leading our ambitious, international business given the breadth of his experience in shaping and executing growth strategies and engendering strong cultures at some of the world's leading businesses," said Chair Ross Graham.

Keywords has over 950 clients and is based in 23 countries, including in Asia, America and Europe.

Shares in Keywords were down 1.3% at 3,055.35 pence in London on Monday morning.
