(Alliance News) - Inspecs Group PLC on Thursday said it is confident of meeting annual expectations, though the distributor of eyewear products noted global supply chain issues.

Bath-based Inspecs said revenue in the nine months to September 30 amounted to USD185.0 million, with USD125.7 million of that achieved in the six months to June. Revenue in the entirety of 2020 was USD47.4 million.

The company noted it remains "cautious" about the trading performance in the fourth quarter, as Covid-19 continues to impact the global supply chain.

Nonetheless, the group asserted confidence in its full-year outlook and stated that it expected trading for 2022 to be "in line with management's expectation".

Shares were up 4.1% and 405.80 pence on Thursday afternoon in London.
