(Alliance News) - Wholesale prices in Ireland edged lower on a monthly basis in March, according to data from the Irish Central Statistics Office on Monday.
Wholesale prices fell by 0.9% in March from February, after increasing by 1.1% on-month in February.
Annually, the wholesale price index edged up 2.0% in March, ebbing from a 3.3% increase a month earlier.
The CSO noted that wholesale electricity prices rose by 2.4% in the month to March, but were 40% lower than a year earlier
