ENAV Spa - Rome-based provider of air traffic management services - Subsidiary IDS AirNav wins EUR720,000 contract with Fiji Airports Ltd for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the CRONOS and the Aeronautical Message Handling System, two "advanced systems for the management and exchange of aeronautical information." Says Fiji Airports is responsible for air traffic control over 15 airports on the Fiji Islands, including the two international airports at Nadi and Nausori, and over an airspace of more than six million square kilometres.

Chief Executive Officer Pasqualino Monti says: "Fiji Airports represents a new customer for the ENAV Group in an area of the world with strong potential. It is not a given in such a specific market to be able to expand the customer portfolio. The organic growth of activities in the not regulated market is a strategic point in our development plan. The number of flights is growing very fast globally, and we have to continue at intercepting the demand for excellent technologies and services."
