(Alliance News) - Ireland's jobless rate ticked lower in December, figures from the Central Statistics Office showed on Wednesday.
On a monthly basis, Ireland's unemployment rate edged lower to 5.1% in December from 5.2% in November.
Commenting on the release, John Mullane, CSO statistician, said: "The Covid-19 crisis has continued to have an impact on the labour market in Ireland in December 2021."
