AJ Bell PLC - Manchester-based retail investment platform - Chief Executive Officer Andrew Bell buys 263,051 shares at GBP3.78, worth GBP994,990, on Thursday. Now has 93.7 million shares, a 22.8% stake. On Thursday, AJ Bell reported a rise in annual profit and revenue and recommended a special dividend to return surplus capital to shareholders.

abrdn PLC- Edinburgh-based asset manager formerly known as Standard Life Aberdeen - CEO Stephen Bird buys 100,000 shares at 231.01 pence, worth GBP231,010. Chief Financial Officer Stephanie Bruce buys 52,948 shares at 234.15 pence, worth GBP123,978. Both on Friday. Non-Executive Director Hannah Grove buys 33,000 shares at 230.00p, worth GBP75,000, on Thursday. Grove joined the board in September.

City of London Investment Group PLC - asset manager - Non-Executive Chair Barry Aling buys 50,000 shares at GBP4.76, worth GBP238,000, on Thursday. Aling now has 184,300 shares, a 0.4% stake. Non-Executive Director Barry Olliff buys 100,000 shares at GBP4.75, worth GBP475,000, also on Thursday. He now has 1.3 million shares, a 2.5% holding.

Audioboom Group PLC - London-based podcast producer - Luxury property developer Nick Candy buys 45,000 shares at 1,000p, worth GBP450,000, on Thursday. Candy is interested in 2.3 million Audioboom shares, a 15% stake. Audioboom Non-Executive Director Steven Smith is associated with Candy Ventures sarl, through which Candy holds most of these shares. Candy had bought 10,000 Audioboom shares on Monday.
