Daily Mail & General Trust PLC - London-based newspaper publisher - Suitor Rothermere Continuation Ltd, owned by DMGT's biggest shareholder Jonathan Harmsworth, receives valid acceptances for its takeover offer from 258,024 shares, reflecting 0.1% of the company's issued share capital.

As a result, Rothermere now either has acceptances or owns 34% of all shares in Daily Mail.

In early November, Daily Mail and Rothermere came to an agreement on the takeover deal, under which the latter will acquire all shares in Daily Mail it does not own for 255 pence each.

In addition, all shareholders are to receive a special distribution of 568 pence and 0.5749 Cazoo shares per DMGT share.

The deal has a deadline of December 16.

Current stock price: 1,078.00 pence
