Director Moves
BlackRock Frontiers
(BRFI): John Murray has bought his first tranche of shares in the company since his appointment as a non-executive director in July.

City of London (CTY): Martin Morgan has been appointed as a non-executive director of the company with effect from March 2012. Morgan has been Chief Executive of Daily Mail and General Trust PLC since October 2008, having joined the Group in 1989; he also serves as a non-executive director on the board of Euromoney Institutional Investor. His appointment will bring the number of board members to five.

Dragon Ukrainian Properties (DUPD): Rory Macnamara has been appointed as a non-executive director of the fund, bringing the number of board members to five. Macnamara serves on boards of six other listed companies (including one investment company, Dunedin Income Growth); he is chairman at two of these.

Eastern European (EST): Philippe Delpal will succeed Hugh Aldous as a non-executive director. Aldous leaves the board on December 31 having served for sixteen years. Delpal will start on January 1. Robert Sheppard has bought his first tranche of shares since his appointment in February 2010. Aldous was the longest-serving board member so his departure sees much of the fund’s recent history leave the board. That said, chairman Neil England has a tenure of nearly nine years, as does Ed Warner.

LMS Capital (LMS): Glenn Payne has stepped down from the board of the private equity fund; he will remain as CEO until end of the year and then will be replaced by Nick Friedlos.

Pantheon International (PIN): Laurie Magnus has bought his first tranche of shares since his appointment in November.

Standard Life Euro Private Equity (SEP): Having served for ten years, Hamish Buchan will step down from the board at the AGM held on February 2. He has been a non-executive director since 2001 and is also chairman of the audit committee. Ed Warner, who has been on the board since November 2008, will be appointed as a senior non-executive director.
