AXA Rosenberg Japan: Qual. Rating Issued

AXA Rosenberg Japan is backed by a well implemented quant process but we’re not convinced it works in the Japanese market.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for AXA Rosenberg American.

"AXA Rosenberg, the quant arm of AXA Investment Management, was appointed as manager of this fund in July 2002. Behind the model is a strong team of data analysts and IT staff. Founder and co-head of the group Dr. Barr Rosenberg has been with the company since he founded it in 1985, and the same model has been used since the firm’s inception, apart from the introduction of growth factors in 1999 after a clear value bias caused underperformance in the dot-com bubble. . . ."
