Our regular instalment of vox pops continues this week, and, in honour of ESG Week on Morningstar.co.uk, this time we've given proceedings a distinctly environmental theme.
I love speaking to the public, so I was keen to ask my City of London neighbours some tough questions about their lifestyle priorities in light of climate change. I also asked them whether they'd made any other changes to their routines or habits based on concern for the future of the planet and its inhabitants.
The lessons are probably threefold:
- Meat-eating is loved almost universally more than flying;
- Financial penalties for non-compliance with environmental dictats would probably be more effective than community service;
- At least two of the City's residents come from a family of Butchers!
