Following the news that Rebecca Edelman, the assistant manager to Felix Wintle on the Neptune US Opportunities fund, is leaving the company in early June to pursue a career outside the investment industry we are retaining the fund’s Morningstar OBSR Analyst Rating™ of Bronze. Mrs Edelman will be replaced by James Hackman, who will become the assistant manager on this fund and lead manager of the US Income fund. Mr Hackman currently manages the European Income fund and joined Neptune in 2012, having previously qualified as an ACA. Despite this change to the US team, we retain our conviction in the fund. Mr Wintle has managed this product since August 2005 and it is primarily his views that drive portfolio construction and stock selection.
