Biography
Joseph Wolfe, CFA, CQF, FRM, has been a Director at BlackRock within the Fundamental Active Equity Portfolio Management Group since 2012. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2012, Mr. Wolfe was the head of Quantitative Active Research at Northern Trust in Chicago where he directed quantitative research across the active equity teams, developed ETF strategies for FlexShares and co-managed several active mutual funds. Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2005, Joseph was a senior quantitative analyst with the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio. Joseph received a B.S. degree from Slippery Rock University and holds advanced degrees in economics from Ohio State University and Kent State University. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, Chicago Quantitative Alliance and Global Association of Risk Professionals. He holds a Series 3 license.

Franco F. Tapia is a Managing Director of BlackRock, Inc. since 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Tapia is a Senior Equity Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Pzena Investment Management from 2006 to 2016. He earned a B.A. in Economics with honors from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was named a Palmer Scholar. Mr. Tapia holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

David Zhao, Managing Director, is Co-Director of Research for the US Income & Value pillar within the Fundamental Equities division of BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group. Mr. Zhao is also a Portfolio Manager for the BlackRock Equity Dividend, Large Cap Focus Value, Mid-Cap Value, High Equity Income, Sustainable US Value and Large Cap Concentrated Value portfolios. Prior to joining BlackRock, David was a Global Equity Senior Research Analyst and Principal at Pzena Investment Management covering technology, US banks/brokers, medical technology, non-life insurance, financial technology and select industrials. David began his career as an Analyst at Lehman Brothers covering technology M&A; and later within the Institutional Equities Corporate Strategy Group. David holds a BA of Arts with degrees in Economics and Computer Information Systems and graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University.

Antonio (Tony) DeSpirito, Managing Director, is Chief Investment Officer for the US Fundamental Equities business of BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group. Mr. DeSpirito is head of the US Income & Value pillar and the lead Portfolio Manager for the BlackRock Equity Dividend, Large Cap Focus Value, Mid-Cap Value, High Equity Income, Sustainable US Value and Large Cap Concentrated Value portfolios. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2014, Mr. DeSpirito worked at Pzena Investment Management, where he served as Managing Principal, portfolio manager, and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Mr. DeSpirito was responsible for a suite of large-cap value, all-cap value and two hedge fund portfolios. Having managed value equity assets since 1996, Mr. DeSpirito served as a portfolio manager for the John Hancock Classic Value, PACE Large Company Value, and Vanguard Windsor funds. Mr. DeSpirito earned a BS degree in economics with concentration in finance, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, and a JD degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1993.
