Anyone who is living, breathing and investing in the UK will probably be affected by a new set of rules called the "Retail Distribution Review" (RDR). These rules were put in place at the beginning of 2013 and they will change the way you receive and pay for financial advice. These changes could potentially even trickle down to affect your portfolio returns, even if you don't invest through an adviser.
