Commodities were once the fuel of speculators but are now recognised as an asset in their own right and a tool of diversification. In this webinar below, Morningstar's director of ETF research Ben Johnson explains the case for commodities and why they are considered by some as a diversification goldmine, examines the source of commodity returns, reviews whether some commodity indices are better than others, and provides some tips for transacting in commodity ETFs and other exchange-traded products.
