The first six months of 2015 have been turbulent on the stock market. In recent weeks, the solid performance that was seen on the FTSE 100 over much of the first half has been wiped out, largely as a result of economic uncertainty and market volatility surrounding the Greek situation. In late April, the UK’s leading index had gained well over 7% since the start of the year—a sterling performance by any measure. But this year the adage to “sell in May and go away” would have served short-term investors well, with the blue-chip index losing 500 points in May and June. By the mid-point of the year, the FTSE 100 was 0.7% lower than where it had started in January, leaving investors scrambling to pick up undervalued opportunities and worrying what the future holds.

Amidst this market noise, long-term investors have continued to seek unbiased information and investment ideas from Morningstar.co.uk’s editorial team. Here are the ten most popular articles and interviews during the first six months of 2015.
