Following the announcement that Greg Aldridge will relinquish his portfolio management responsibilities in July 2014, we have placed the M&G Global Growth fund Under Review. The fund previously held a Morningstar OBSR Analyst Rating™ of Bronze. Going forward, the fund will be managed by John William Olsen, who joined M&G in April 2014 from Danske Capital where he had run global- and European-equity funds since 2002. Mr Aldridge remains at M&G and will focus on running institutional mandates. While we are encouraged by the level of experience that Mr Olsen brings to this fund, the talent and experience of Mr Aldridge were key to our strong conviction here. We will meet with the new manager once he has assumed responsibility for the fund to discuss its future management.
