Following the Morningstar OBSR Analyst Ratings Meeting on 10th April 2014, we have moved the Jupiter Income fund to a Morningstar OBSR Analyst Rating™ of Neutral. The fund was previously Under Review following the retirement of previous manager Anthony Nutt. The fund is now managed by Ben Whitmore who is an experienced and highly successful manager of the Jupiter UK Special Situations fund. Mr Whitmore will manage this fund with his tried and tested process which is moulded by his contrarian investment philosophy. However, we are yet to see how his style will be affected by the income constraint of the mandate and therefore at this stage we have awarded the fund a Neutral rating.
