Biography
Daniel Lurch has been a Portfolio Manager inthe Sustainable Asset Management division of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since 2020. He is the Lead Portfolio Manager forthe ‘JSS Sustainable Equities -Green Planet’ strategy. In addition, he works as a Portfolio Manager on the ‘JSS Sustainable Equity -TechDisruptors’ strategy with a focus on industrial and cyclical stocks. Before joining J. Safra Sarasin Sustainable Asset Management, he was a senior investment analyst for European small & mid-cap stocks at an activist fund in Monaco for two years. Prior to this, he worked as a sell-side analyst covering the metals & mining sectors in London at Exane BNP Paribas (2015) and Macquarie (2012). Daniel Lurch began his career in 2008, in the Asset Management division of Macquarie Bank.Daniel Lurch is a German and UK citizen. He graduated from the University of Mannheim, Germany with a Master in Business Administration. He is also a CFA®charterholder.

Biography
Tomasz Godziek is the Head of Thematic Equities and a Portfolio Manager at J. Safra Sarasin Sustainable Asset Management (JSS AM). He has been the lead portfolio manager of the JSS Sustainable Equity -Tech Disruptors fund since its launch in 2018. Tomasz and his team are also responsible for the other thematic funds at JSS -the Green Planet, SDG Opportunities, Next-Gen Consumer and Future Health funds. Tomasz has a specialist fundamental expertise in the information technology (IT) industry, thematic and sustainability research as well as a strong background in statistical analysis and programming. Tomasz joined JSS AM as a sustainable equity investment analyst in 2014. He started his career at Dow Jones Indexes. In 2011 he became an analyst at Stoxx (now Qontigo, part of Deutsche Börse) and became an index engineer in 2013 focusing on the development of sustainability, macroeconomic and style rotation indices. Tomasz holds three master’s degrees, in global financial markets, international trade and business and management research. He is currently working towards a doctorate in active equity portfolio management at Henley Business School, where he analysesthe impact of macroeconomic conditions on the returns of Information Technology stocks.
