Rome Resources PLC - mineral explorer with tin project in Democratic Republic of the Congo - Says it is participating in an airborne geophysical survey covered the greater Bisie tin district. Notes this district contains one of the world's highest grade tin plays, with the survey forming part of a broader contiguous programme of geophysical data acquisition. Says acquisition of over 600 kilometres of helicopter-borne geophysical data is planned for the company, with the survey to cover the entirety of its two licences. Adds that pre-survey testing began in the southern area on Monday, and is anticipated to move onto the company's licence areas in late May.
"The opportunity to undertake the survey is very timely and represents an important step in advancing our understanding of the broader Bisie mineralisation system. Alongside the assay results from our recently completed drilling campaign at Kalayi and the forthcoming updated Mineral Resource Estimate, the Survey is expected to provide critical data to guide our plans for the next phase of drilling at both Kalayi and Mont Agoma," says Chief Executive Paul Barrett.
