(Alliance News) - Unilever PLC on Tuesday announced that Chief Financial Officer Graeme Pitkethly intends to leave the company at the end of May next year.

The London-based consumer product company sells Marmite, Ben & Jerry's and Wall's ice creams, Vaseline skincare, Signal toothpaste, Dove, Lynx, and many other products.

Unilever said it will now start the search for a new CFO. Pitkethly joined the company in 2002 as chief accountant and was appointed as CFO in 2015.

Unilever shares were down 0.4% at 4,142.00 pence early Tuesday in London.
