(Alliance News) - Great Portland Estates PLC on Thursday said that fashion retailer Reserved has leased space for a new flagship store on Oxford Street in London.
Great Portland Estates is a London-based property developer and investor.
The company said that Reserved will occupy 19,645 square feet over the ground and first floors of its development, 70/88 Oxford Street. The store, which will be Reserved's second anchor store in London following their UK debut in 2017, will stock the brand's fashion apparel for women, men and children. Reserved's store will open in 2023.
The retailer is set to join Boom: Battle Bar, which occupies 15,600 square feet of the building, and is due to open a competitive escape room concept before Christmas. It will feature an adventure bar and activities including Bavarian Axe Throwing.
"I am absolutely thrilled that we have signed our latest retail deal with Reserved. Since their UK launch, the brand has created quite the buzz across the market and complements our wider West End offering with experiential adventure bar Boom: Battle Bar. Together both brands will help create a day-to-night destination on the doorstep of the Elizabeth line station at Tottenham Court Road," said Great Portland Senior Portfolio Manager Sarah Goldman.
"We look forward to welcoming Reserved to the building, and the opening of Boom: Battle Bar, and foresee the huge appeal both brands will have to Londoners and tourists in the area."
Great Portland Estate shares were trading 1.2% higher at 537.50 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
