(Alliance News) - S4 Capital PLC on Wednesday reported the merger of Los Angeles-based marketing agency Cashmere with its content arm, Media.Monks.
The London-based marketing firm said the merger will expand its "creative and culture capabilities" in the US and wider world.
Cashmere has 150 team members and a range of high-profile clients including Alphabet Inc's Google, Facebook Inc, Instagram, BMW AG, and Netflix Inc, among others, the company said.
Late Tuesday, Sky News reported the S4 Capital deal for Cashmere.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
S4 Capital's executive chair Martin Sorrell said: "[Cashmere's] ability to translate contemporary culture into compelling content and reach diverse audiences is a rare talent...It is particularly relevant, given the changes we see taking place around diversity and purpose, not only in the United States, but beyond."
Cashmere's chief creative officer, Ryan Ford, added: "Our unique ability to positively impact culture and more importantly, passion to push the culture forward, merges seamlessly with Media.Monks' tremendous track record of producing innovative high-quality work. Together, we will continue to produce undeniably dope campaigns on behalf of our clients and colleagues...with even more global impact."
The deal will be yet another purchase for the acquisitive London-based firm, one of dozens it has made over the past few years.
In early August, S4 Capital merged two of its agencies - Netherlands-based creative designer MediaMonks and California-based media consultant MightyHive - in a move to consolidate the business.
Shares in S4 Capital were flat at 813.39 pence in London on Wednesday.
