(Alliance News) - Adecco Group AG on Tuesday said it has agreed to buy Qapa, a digital recruitment service in France, for EUR65 million.

Paris-based Qapa operates an app where workers can find and apply for temporary jobs quickly in all industries.

Adecco, a global recruitment agency based in Zurich, said the deal complements its "omnichannel and value-added services strategy" and that Qapa will benefit from its large customer network and database of job candidates. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2021.

"We see the acquisition of Qapa as an important step in broadening our customer offering with a state-of-the-art 100% online solution focused on flexible placement," Adecco Chief Executive Alain Dehaze said.

Shares in Adecco were down 0.4% to CHF51.20 in Zurich on Tuesday.
