Nucleus Financial Group PLC - Edinburgh-based financial services provider - Proposes cancellation of shares on September 22 after takeover by James Hay Holdings Ltd for GBP144.6 million became unconditional. Shares will be suspended a day before.

Also appoints Kathryn Purves and David Paige to board, after takeover. Purves served as chief executive of London-listed IFG PLC for two years and was also previously chief risk officer of Partnership Assurance Group PLC. Paige was chair of the Yorkshire Building Society Pension Scheme.

Current stock price: 185.00 pence

Year-to-date change: up 7.4%
