(Alliance News) - London-based music streaming company Napster Group PLC on Monday said it has appointed Lansing Davis and Peter Read as non-executive directors with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Andy Botha resigned from the board "to pursue his other commitments".

Shares in Napster were down 15% at 1.24 pence each in London on Monday morning.

Davis has spent nearly 20 years in the investment management sector, having started at Lord, Abbett & Co LLC, before founding his own asset management and advisory firm, Davis Capital Partners LLC, in 2008.

Read worked at accountants KPMG for 37 years, ending as a partner in 2013.

Read served as a non-executive director of MelodyVR from 2015 to 2017. UK-listed MelodyVR changed its name to Napster after acquiring the Napster music streaming business in the US.
