Director Moves
Albany
(ABNY): The board of directors has appointed Tom Chandos as a non-executive director. Chandos is currently chairman of two other listed companies and will join the board of Albany on October 13. This takes the board to five and adds a fresh face: the average tenure before his arrival was more than 12 years.

Aurora Russia (AURR): Ben Morgan has resigned as a director of the company, but will continue to act as the company's Guernsey legal counsel. Morgan announced at the end of August that he will leave the board if all remaining directors get re-elected at the AGM held on September 28—and so it came to pass.

Caledonia Investments (CLDN): Rob Kent and Robert Woods add further strengthen the board of Caledonia Investments, with their appointments as non-executive directors, effective October 1 and November 1 respectively. The board already numbers five executive directors and six non-executives, which surpasses the size of an average board of directors.

Genesis Emerging Markets (GSS): The Hon. John Train has announced his retirement from the board, effective October 28. The board still comprises seven members, of which three are non-executive.

TP70 VCT (TPV): Richard Rose has been appointed as a non-executive director, which has increased the number of board members to four.

TR European Growth (TRG): Bernard Clark will retire as a non-executive director at the AGM on November 7. We don’t believe his departure will shake the board’s foundations; it will remain sizeable with five non-executive directors, with the average tenure exceeding five years.

TR Property (TRY): Simon Marrison has been appointed as a non-executive director; this is the first non-executive role for him.
