We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for GS Japan Portfolio.

"Hiroyuki Ito took over day-to-day management of this fund in Oct. 2005 and has acquitted himself well. That’s impressive given that his supporting team was assembled only in the last three years. The group came together under the leadership of David Townshend. Townshend had been with Goldman since 1992 and was sent to Tokyo in 2005 to address what had become a problem area for the firm. He quickly made changes to address the issues, and though this triggered some departures, he managed to rebuild the team with high-caliber individuals."
