Following the Morningstar OBSR Analyst Ratings Meeting on 8th May 2013, we have downgraded the Threadneedle Emerging Market Bond fund to a Morningstar OBSR Analyst Rating of Neutral.  The fund was previously Under Review due to some significant changes to the emerging market debt team including the departure of Richard House, former Head of Emerging Markets Debt.  The fund is now managed by Dr Henry Stipp, Co-Head of Emerging Markets Debt alongside Mr John Peta, who joined Threadneedle in November 2012.  Dr Stipp and Mr Peta each have experience in managing emerging market debt mandates but thus far they have worked together for a limited period of time.   We will follow the fund as it evolves under the new portfolio management team but we feel that a Neutral Rating is appropriate at the present time on the basis of these changes.
