Synairgen PLC, up 43% at 26.50 pence, 12-month range 10.00p-223.80p. The drug discovery and biotechnology company says studies conducted in the Netherlands have shown SNG001 has potent antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 Delta and Omicron variants at concentrations that are readily achievable. SNG001 is a formulation for inhalation containing the broad-spectrum antiviral protein interferon beta.

dotDigital Group PLC, down 48% at 77.40p, 12-month range 75.78p-295.00p. The online marketing warns on slowing growth. For six months ended December 31, pretax profit rises to GBP8.6 million from GBP7.1 million year before on revenue of GBP30.9 million, up from GBP28.2 million. Is not proposing interim dividend, to conduct full dividend review at year-end. Looking ahead, dotDigital notes "unwinding" of customer buying behaviour in post-lockdown environment, as reduced growth in demand for SMS marketing will hit growth. As such, now expects full year revenue growth to be slower than previous expectations during the current and future financial years.
