(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Motorpoint Group PLC, up 4.7% at 354.00 pence, 12-month range 248.00p-379.00p. Car Dealer magazine, which covers the UK motor trade market, on Wednesday reported used car buyer and seller Cinch is mulling a GBP500 million offer for Motorpoint. Motorpoint has a market value of GBP319.3 million. Peer Pendragon PLC was up 3.4%.

Macau Property Opportunities Trust PLC, down 9.5% at 55.00p, 12-month range 53.00p-74.96p. The property investor, with a focus on Macau, falls again after the region on Wednesday unveiled plans for a crackdown on the casino industry. The Macau government announced a 45-day public consultation on Wednesday, including a proposal for direct supervision over the gambling industry, which has faced increasing scrutiny from authorities in recent years. Macau Property fell 3.2% on Wednesday. It hits its 12-month low on Thursday.
