"Our investment manager believes that the company's portfolio remains well placed to benefit from the long‑term trends driving the growth of the consuming classes in these markets, most notably growing populations becoming more affluent, consuming more and ultimately undergoing changes in their tastes which lead to both the development of premium products and the growth of new areas of markets," says Chair Martin Bralsford. The trust believes its long-term approach should deliver "attractive returns" for investors.
