(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Marlowe PLC - London-based safety and compliance services and software - Hires Adam Councell as chief financial officer. Councell is finance director of pub and hotel chain Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC. Fullers says that Councell will stay on the board as finance director until a successor has been found and that a search is underway. Marlowe says Councell will join in the second half of its 2022 financial year, meaning October 2021 to March 2022. Councell was CFO at document management company Restore PLC, where he worked with Marlowe Chief Executive Alex Dacre. Prior to that, he was with pest control firm Rentokil Initial PLC. At Marlowe, Councell will replace Mark Adams, who is retiring.

RM PLC - Abingdon, England-based provider of technology and resources to education sector - Promotes CFO Neil Martin to CEO, replacing David Brooks from Monday. Martin has been RM's CFO for five years. Mark Berry, who was CFO of estate agent Foxtons PLC, will join as interim CFO early next month until a permanent successor is found.

Danakali Ltd - developing Colluli sulphate of potash project in Eritrea - Non-Executive Chair Seamus Cornelius moves to executive chair, as the role of CEO Niels Wage is made redundant and board members take a 33% cut in fees. Danakali says the board size will be reduced at its annual general meeting in the second quarter. Cites the "ongoing serious disruption to international travel caused by the Covid-19 pandemic", saying the changes will reduce operating costs.

Universe Group PLC - Southampton, Hampshire-based retail management, payment and loyalty systems - CEO Jeremy Lewis will leave on April 30 "to pursue other opportunities outside of the public markets", after seven years with Universe. Says in discussions for a successor. Non-Executive Chair Andrew Blazye moves to executive chair, effective immediately, while Ivan Brooks takes on the new position of chief operations officer on an interim basis.

Schroder UK Public Private Trust PLC - formerly Woodford Patient Capital Trust, invests in both listed and private UK companies - Hires Tim Edwards as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately, with the intention that he will replace retiring Susan Searle as chair at the next annual general meeting. Edwards is a chartered accountant who is an independent non-executive director of currency manager Record PLC, among other roles.

Tissue Regenix Group PLC - Leeds-based medical devices for regenerative medicine - Confirms Interim Non-Executive Chair Jonathan Glenn as permanent chair, effective immediately. Glenn joined Tissue Regenix at the start of 2016 and was made interim chair back in March of last year.

Arix Bioscience PLC - venture capital investment in biotech firms - Hires James Noble and Axel Wieandt as non-executive directors, starting April 1. Noble is lead independent director of former London-listing GW Pharmaceuticals, chair of Stockholm-listed Orexo AG, and a director of Nasdaq-listed Adaptimmune Therapeutics PLC, where he previously was CEO. Wieandt worked at Morgan Stanley and then Deutsche Bank AG, where he was head of Corporate Development and global head of Corporate Investments. He also was CEO of Hypo Real Estate. Meanwhile, Mark Breuer steps down from the Arix board on April 1, and Arix promotes Giles Kerr to senior independent director, effective immediately.

Emis Group PLC - healthcare software - Hires Jayaprakasa Rangaswami as independent non-executive director, starting on Monday. Rangaswami is currently a non-executive director of publisher Daily Mail & General Trust PLC and insurer Admiral Group PLC. As an executive, he was chief data officer and head of innovation at Deutsche Bank AG.

Zambeef Products PLC - Lusaka, Zambia-based beef producer - David Osborne steps down as director on Sunday following his retirement from shareholder CDC Group PLC.
