(Alliance News) - IMC Exploration Group PLC on Friday said its loss narrowed in 2020 amid reduced operating expenses.

The Irish precious and base metals mining project developer reported a loss of EUR122,744 for the six months to the end of 2020 compared to EUR251,947 loss posted a year earlier, thanks to a reduction in administrative expenses. No revenue was generated in either year.

The company said it continues to make significant progress on its County Wicklow and North Wexford projects. It continues to work with Trinity College Dublin to understand the gold formation at IMC's Avoca VMS deposit in County Wicklow.

"The last six months have been extremely productive and positive for IMC and we are confident that the balance of the current financial year will bring further progress for the benefit of shareholders," said Executive Chair Eamon O'Brien.

IMC Exploration shares were untraded in London on Friday, last closing at 1.00 pence each.
