(Alliance News) - Microsoft Corp on Thursday said it has expanded its partnership with Deutsche Telekom AG to help companies accelerate cloud transformation.
The US tech giant stated the seven-year strategic agreement will help enterprise and mid-market customers accelerate digitalization, with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure as T-Systems' preferred cloud platform in certain areas.
Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems is a German IT services and consulting company.
Microsoft stated that by combining its cloud and AI capabilities with Deutsche Telekom's cloud migration framework and telecommunications services, customers will be able to increase their productivity, build more agile and resilient operations, and deliver new cloud offerings faster.
"The case for digital transformation has never been more urgent. We know that the next decade of economic performance for every business, whether large or small, will depend on the digital investments made today. Through this strategic partnership, which combines the power of Deutsche Telekom's network and Microsoft's cloud, customers will have more opportunities to become resilient, accelerate innovation and ultimately drive success," said Jean-Philippe Courtois, executive vice president & president of Microsoft global sales, marketing & operations.
