(Alliance News) - Anglo American PLC on Wednesday said its Anglo American Capital PLC has completed the tender offer to buyback two series of euro-denominated notes.

The miner said it will repurchase EUR137.0 million of the EUR750.0 million 2.500% notes due April 29, 2021. The aggregate nominal amount outstanding after the settlement date of Friday will be EUR240.8 million.

Anglo American Capital will also buyback EUR316.7 million of the EUR750.0 million 3.500% notes due March 28, 2022. The nominal amount left following the settlement date will be EUR433.3 million.

Banco Santander, BNP Paribas SA, Morgan Stanley & Co International PLC and Unicredit AG are acting as joint dealer managers for the 2021 and 2022 notes.

Shares in Anglo American were up 0.3% at 1,986.4 pence in London, while its Johannesburg shares were 0.9% higher at ZAR421.00 on Wednesday.
