LONDON (Alliance News) - Pelatro PLC on Tuesday said it has been awarded a USD1.5 million contract by Vinaphone, a mobile network operator in Vietnam.

Pelatro shares were trading up 5.6% at 84.50 pence each.

The marketing software specialist said that, under the three-year deal, it will supply its mViva contextual marketing platform to assist Vinaphone increase its revenue and customer engagement.

The agreement provides Pelatro with a fixed monthly fee in addition to a share of the incremental revenue generated by the customers using the platform, the firm explained.

"We have made an excellent start to 2019 with this contract win in a strategically important and large country in Asia which continues the momentum of expansion in the region," Chief Executive Officer Subash Menon said.

Menon added: "Further, we are particularly excited with the possibilities of a revenue share contract with a large telco, something that has been of particular focus. The fixed monthly fee provides stable cash flow."

The company concluded describing itself as confident for its annual outlook due to its "healthy pipeline of contracts".
