LONDON (Alliance News) - DCD Media PLC said Monday that it expects its annual revenue to fall on the prior year but added that the first quarter of 2019 started very strongly.

For 2018, the TV distribution and production group expects revenue of GBP7.3 million and pretax profit of GBP100,000.

A year ago, the firm posted revenue of GBP10.2 million and pretax profit of GBP519,000.

The company added that its sales team has delivered a "very strong start" to the first quarter of 2019, with sales that were expected to fall into last year falling into the current year giving cause for optimism for the current financial year.

DCD Media will publish its annual results on May 31.

DCD Media shares were untraded at 350.00 pence each.
