LONDON (Alliance News) - Taptica International Ltd on Wednesday said it has entered into a partnership with Japanese marketing firm Adinnovation Inc.

Taptica is a mobile advertising platform for advertising agencies and brands and Adinnovation provides services for monetisation of apps. Under the deal, the pair will target the mobile games industry.

The partnership follows the establishment of Taptica's office in South Korea last year and forms part of its strategy to increase its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

"We are delighted to have entered into this partnership with Adinnovation, one of the leading agencies in the Japanese mobile marketing space. Japanese smartphone penetration is expected to continue to increase and the smartphone ad industry is expected to see exponential growth. This partnership will accelerate our brand awareness in Japan and help us lead the local market expansion," Chief Executive Hagai Tal said in a statement.

Shares in Taptica were untraded on Wednesday morning, last quoted at 240.00 pence.
