Rating Initiations
Jupiter JGF Global Convertibles (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Jupiter JGF Global Convertibles is a high-quality offering for investors making a long-term allocation to convertible bonds.

Rating Updates
Artemis European Growth (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Artemis European Growth has a key weakness, but we still think it’s a good long-term holding for the right investor.

Artemis Income (Elite)
Excerpt from report: Artemis Income is an excellent choice for investors seeking income from their UK equity exposure.

Artemis Strategic Bond (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Artemis Strategic Bond is an appropriate choice for investors comfortable with a high-conviction approach that can lead to higher-risk positioning.

BlackRock European Dynamic (Superior)
Excerpt from report: We like BGF Continental European Flexible but it’s not for the faint-hearted.

BlackRock Gold and General (Elite)
Excerpt from report: We think this is a high-quality way to invest in gold-related equities in a risk-controlled manner.

BlackRock UK Income (Superior)
Excerpt from report: BlackRock UK Income remains a strong choice for investors requiring a balanced approach between the growth of income and capital.

Cazenove European (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Cazenove European is still a worthy choice for investors seeking exposure to European equities.

Cazenove Pan Europe (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Cazenove Pan Europe is a high-quality offering in a competitive peer group.

Fidelity European (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Investors have benefited from the longevity and quality of this fund’s managers.

Investec Global Energy (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Investec Global Energy is a strong choice for energy investors.

Martin Currie Japan (Superior)
Excerpt from report: Martin Currie Japan remains a strong proposition in its Morningstar category.

Old Mutual UK Select Small Cos (Elite)
Excerpt from report: We consider Old Mutual UK Select Smaller Companies to be a strong offering within the competitive small-cap category.

Schroder Income (Superior)

Rating Upgrades
None.

Rating Downgrades
Artemis Capital (Standard)
Excerpt from report: We’re moving this fund’s rating from Under Review (formerly Superior) to Standard because we believe it is difficult for Artemis to generate above-average returns using its quantitative process on a UK-only equity universe.

IP European Equity (Superior)
Excerpt from report: We think Invesco Perpetual European Equity remains a very good choice for European equity exposure, even if we’re slightly less enamoured of it than we had been.
