Investec American: Qual. Rating Updated

The loss of Bill Fries is significant at Investec American, but to us it’s not a deal breaker.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for Investec American.

"Fries stepped down as comanager of this fund at the start of the year to concentrate his efforts on another of the advisor’s offerings, Thornburg’s International Value fund. He has handed full reins to comanagers Ed Maran and Connor Browne. Fries has over 30 years’ experience and has accumulated a strong long-term track record at Thornburg Value, so his loss is notable......"
