Threadneedle Euro HY Bond: Qual. Rating Issued

This fund’s experienced manager and excellent process argue strongly in its favour, though we wish it were cheaper.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for Threadneedle European High Yield Bond.

"Roman Gaiser took over this fund in Oct. 2005 and he came with a good track record from managing a near mirror-image fund at F&C from 2002-05 that outperformed peers by 5% based on annualised returns during his tenure. His number two on the fund is the experienced Barry Whitman, who is the current head of high yield at Threadneedle. These two men are supported by three credit analysts. While this five-person team is relatively small, they're all dedicated to high yield and make sensible use of Threadneedle's equity analysts and top-down strategists during the

process..."
