Royal London UK Equity: Qual. Rating Issued

In our view, investors in Royal London UK Equity are not getting good value for money.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for Royal London UK Equity.

"In mid-2007 this former GBP 3 bil behemoth was split into four new offerings. Out of it fell a special situations fund, a small-cap offering, and a tracker. What remained is this UK Equity fund, which kept GBP 180 mil of assets to be run by Jane Coffey as a core UK equity mandate. Although Coffey is a seasoned investment professional and Head of Equities at Royal London, her actual UK fund management experience is limited. Prior to taking on this fund, she had more recently spent her time running teams and providing macro perspectives. We think this lack of front-line fund

management experience and the highly constrained nature of the fund diminishes its attractiveness. . . ."
