The nominees for this year's Morningstar Fund Manager of the Year Awards have been revealed. Finallists in two categories have now been announced, Outstanding Fund Manager and Rising Talent, and the winner of the third category, Outstanding Investment House, will be announced at an award ceremony in November.

The annual Fund Manager of the Year Awards, now in their 14th year, recognise and celebrate the best of the UK fund management profession and are selected by Morningstar’s manager research analysts.

The awards draw from fund rating system, which looks at three key pillars behind a fund - its People, Process and Parent company, awarding funds a rating on a scale from Gold down to Negative, based on how well it is expected to perform after fees, while also taking risk into account.

Outstanding Fund Manager Award Shortlist:

The Outstanding Fund Manager Award is given to the fund manager or team that has produced exceptional returns over the longer-term, taking into account tenure and consistency and approach.
