LONDON (Alliance News) - Unilever PLC on Tuesday said it has priced its bonds on the European Markets.

The FTSE 100-listed personal care company said the bonds comprise EUR650 million of 1.5% fixed rate notes due June 2039 and GBP500 million of 1.5% fixed rate notes due July 2026.

The bonds have an anticipated issue date of Tuesday next week, and will be issued by Unilever and guaranteed by Unilever NV and Unilever US Inc.

Unilever intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, it said.

The stock closed 0.8% lower on Tuesday in London at 4,814.50 pence a share.
