LONDON (Alliance News) - Access Intelligence PLC on Tuesday reported a narrowed loss in its most recently ended financial year following the acquisition of PR software company ResponseSource Ltd.

The marketing software company's pretax loss narrowed in the year to the end of November to GBP1.7 million from GBP3.8 million a year prior, as revenue rose by 10% to GBP8.9 million from GBP8.1 million.

Excluding the impact of acquisitions, revenue from continuing operations increased by 7.6% to GBP8.7 million, Access Tech said.

During the year, the company bought ResponseSource, adding "depth and breadth" to its media and influencer network as well as over 1,500 new customers.

Annual contract value base increased by 45% to GBP12.4 million from GBP8.6 million the year before. Excluding ResponseSource, ACV increased by 7.5%.

"Our fundamentals are robust, we have strong commercial momentum, and the ResponseSource acquisition provides a platform to accelerate the expansion of our network and enhance the group's ability to provide a growing client base with data-driven communications intelligence," said Non-Executive Chair Christopher Satterthwaite.

Access Intelligence shares were untraded on Tuesday, last closing at 57.00 pence each.
