LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.

Advanced Oncotherapy signed a distribution agreement with a Chinese medical technology company and raised GBP37.0 million in new capital.

The company has signed a distribution agreement with Yantai CIPU Medical Technology, which will market and sell the company's LIGHT proton therapy treatment for cancer across China, Macau, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Under the distribution pact, Yantai will make a payment of GBP16.5 million to Advanced Oncotherapy.

The company also said it has raised a total of GBP37.4 million in total financing, including the Yantai payment.

Yantai also has decided to additionally subscribe 45.0 million new shares in Advanced Oncotherapy at 30.0p each, raising GBP13.5 million. Following the investment, Yantai will own a 30% stake in Advanced Oncotherapy.

Advanced Oncotherapy said other parties have agreed to subscribe to, or convert outstanding loans into new shares, raising a further GBP7.4 million.

These include Chief Executive Nicholas Serandour subscribing to 1.7 million shares worth GBP500,000, taking his holding in the company to 1.2%, and Executive Chairman Michael Sinclair, who has increased his stake to 4.4% having also subscribed to 1.7 million shares.

Advanced Oncology said the proceeds of the equity investments will fund continued technical development of the LIGHT system and its installation at the Proton Therapy Centre on Harley Street, London.

Shares in the proton therapy developer closed at up 32% at 43.50p.

Debt purchaser and manager Arrow Global Group said incoming Chief Financial Officer Paul Cooper has taken a stake in the company.
Arrow Global said Cooper bought 64,697 shares on Wednesday at a price of GBP3.845 per share, for a total cost of GBP248,760. The shares represent 0.04% of the company's issued share capital. The company announced back in October that Cooper, who begins on January 1, will replace outgoing CFO Rob Memmott, who is leaving the firm after six years in the role. Cooper was previously finance director for five years at insurer Hiscox Ltd. Arrow Global shares closed down 0.9% on Thursday at 373.75p.

Zegona Communications said Non-Executive Director Richard Williams bought 17,200 shares in the company at 142 pence each. Following this, Williams' holding is 25,287 shares, or a less than 1.0% stake. He also holds a long position equivalent to 36,006 shares through a contract for difference. Shares in Zegona closed down 1.7% at 140.05 pence Thursday.

Tritax Big Box REIT said Non-executive Director Aubrey Adams bought 100,000 shares at 143.90 pence each. Following the transaction, Adams' resultant holding was not disclosed. Shares in Tritax Big Box REIT closed down 0.4% at 142.21 pence on Thursday.

Shaftesbury said Non-Executive Director Jill Little bought 2,997 shares at 993.38 pence each Thursday for a total GBP29,771.45. Little's subsequent shareholding was not disclosed. Shares in Shaftesbury closed up 0.8% at 990.50 pence Thursday.

VPC Specialty Lending Investments said on Thursday Chief Executive Officer and Founder Richard Levy bought 459,194 shares at 75.76 pence each on Wednesday. Victory Park Capital Advisors, a vehicle closely associated with Levy, also purchased 76,235 shares at 75.50 pence each on Wednesday. Levy's resultant holding following the transactions was not disclosed. Shares in VPC Specialty Lending Investments closed down 1.3% at 74.25 pence on Thursday.

Digital media and events business Vitesse Media said Non-Executive Director Fraser Gray has taken a stake in the company. Gray bought 556,085 shares on Thursday at a price of 2.70 pence per share. Following the purchase, Gray now holds approximately 0.3% of the company's issued share capital, having previously held none. Shares in Vitesse closed down 10% at 2.25p.

Primorus Investments said Executive Director Alastair Clayton acquired 5.0 million shares at an average price of 0.1985 pence per share on Wednesday and Thursday. Following this transaction, Clayton now holds 85.0 million shares, reflecting a 3.0% interest in the company. Shares in the investing company closed up 1.7% at 0.196 pence on Thursday.

Majestic Wine said Commercial Sales Director Ben Nicholl has sold shares in the firm. Nicholl, Majestic said, sold 2,000 shares on Tuesday at a price of GBP4.56 for a total sum of GBP9,120. The wine dealer gave no details as to Nicholl's previous or subsequent share holding. The sale comes after the company's Managing Director of Naked Wines in the US Luke Jecks sold 25,000 shares for GBP105,750B on November 27. Majestic shares closed up 0.4% Thursday at 457.97p.

Assura said directors including, Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Murphy and Chairman Simon Laffin, purchased shares in the company's share placing on Wednesday. Murphy bought 70,175 shares at 57.00 pence for a total of GBP39,999, whilst Laffin acquired 263,157 shares at the same price for a total of GBP149,999. Chief Financial Officer Jayne Cottam purchased 17,543 shares at 57.00 pence for a total of GBP9,999. Non-executive Director David Richardson bought 70,175 at the same price for a total of GBP39,999, and Non-exec Ed Smith purchased 87,719 pence for a total of GBP49,999. Following the transactions Murphy holds 2.4 million shares in the company, Laffin holds 3.6 million shares and Richardson now holds 485,010 shares. The purchases are both Cottam's and Smith's only holdings. Shares in Assura closed up 0.8% at 59.90 pence on Thursday.

Saga said Chief Executive Officer Lance Batchelor acquired shares worth GBP99,500 in the over-50s insurance and travel services provider in a transaction on Wednesday. Batchelor, CEO since 2014, acquired 71,997 shares at a price of 138.2 pence each. The transaction occurred the same day as Saga saw its share price fall more than 20% after it said it was hit by challenging trading conditions in insurance broking as well as the collapse of holiday carrier Monarch Airlines. The stock closed down 1.9% at 130.79p on Thursday.

Software company Oxford Metrics said Appleton Trust, of which founder and non-executive director Julian Morris is a trustee, sold 1.0 million shares at a price of 61.50 pence each. Following the sale, Morris retains a beneficial interest in 6.0 million shares, representing a 4.9% stake in the company. Shares in Oxford Metrics were up 0.7% at 61.90 pence on Thursday.

United Utilities Group said Company Secretary Simon Gardiner sold 4,840 shares at a price of 809.50 pence each on Tuesday. Sara Gardiner, a person closely associated to him, also sold 4,843 shares at the same price. Following the transactions, the resultant holdings were not disclosed. Shares in United Utilities Group closed up 0.6% at 814.26 pence on Thursday.
