LONDON (Alliance News) - Management Consulting Group PLC Wednesday said the head of its Alexander Proudfoot business, Luiz Carvalho, is stepping down with immediate effect after 32 years with the unit.

In a statement, the company said Management Consulting Group Chief Executive Nick Stagg will now also become interim CEO of Alexander Proudfoot. Chairman Alan Barber, who is stepping down at the end of this year, will increase his day-to-day involvement with the parent company to support the team.

The company didn't give any reason for Carvalho's departure.
