November 13, LONDON (Alliance News) - Amphion Innovations PLC Wednesday said that its partner company Kromek Group PLC had launched its initial public offering on AIM.

After the placing Amphion holds a 11.6% stake in Kromek. Chief Executive Officer Richard Morgan is also the chairman of Kromek.

In a separate statement the company announced that its partner company WellGen Inc. had been awarded a grant of USD293,244 by the National Institute of Health.

Amphion is a private equity firm focused on the development of medical and technology businesses. Its shares last traded at 4.45 pence.
