In one month's time, Morningstar OBSR will honour some of the UK's most successful fund managers. Are your funds managed by those on the shortlist?
Outstanding Investor Honour and Outstanding Rising Talent Honour are two of the four awards to be announced at the fifth annual Morningstar OBSR Honours Dinner on September 6, 2012. The Honours celebrate the best of the UK fund management industry each year.
“The competition for these Honours is strong but these managers stand out from their peers and demonstrate effective long-term strategies that support investors’ interests,” commented Nigel Whittingham, managing director of Morningstar OBSR.
Outstanding Investor Honour
This Honour is awarded to the manager or team that has produced exceptional returns over at least 10 years, with consideration given to their loyalty and tenure, consistency of approach, risk-adjusted returns and assets under management.

Outstanding Rising Talent Honour
This Honour is awarded to the manager or team that has established a position in the market and has the potential to achieve strong and consistent long-term returns, based on the objectives of the funds they manage.
